Henry and Athena Strutt live at Stutton Hall with their five children (Algy, Scarlett, Leo, Sam and Daniel). The house is a large red-brick house overlooking the Stour estuary. It was built by Sir William Jermy in 1553. The house was bought by Henry Strutt's great grandfather, James Fison, in about 1880 and has been lived in since then by four generations of the Fison and Strutt families. For a period in the 17th century, Stutton Hall was owned by the Tollemache family who are ancestors of the Strutts, so there are many family connections with the house and the local area. |
