Mary originated in Weybridge/Lingfield and Ewen in Newcastle on Tyne. We lived in Shenfield for 27 years before moving to Stutton in 1997, to be nearer friends and the yacht club. We moved into the house previously owned by Sidney Welch who, by pleasant coincidence, was also a member of the Royal Harwich Yacht Club.
We have three daughters: Jane, Amy and Helen who are involved in Sailing, Music, Environmental Planning and Teaching.
