Address 16, Cattsfield,
Stutton

It was February 1979 when Eric and I moved to Stutton and we were promptly snowed in for a week or so.  Great Fun!

Eric had his own business, clock and watch repairs, in Ipswich.  I worked as an Orthopaedic Ward Sister at the Ipswich Hospital until taking early retirement in 1999.

We had been married in the Falkland Islands in 1971 - I was working there on contract to the government.  Eric put his shop in the hands of a manager and came out to join me.  We were married in the most southerly cathedral in the world, at Port Stanley.  Our honeymoon was spent travelling , mostly overland, through South America and indeed right up to Nova Scotia in Canada.

Sadly, Eric passed away in 1996.

I love my garden and travelling to unusual places - Namibia, Madagascar and Mongolia being among the most unusual I have visited.

I continue in Cattsfield with my beautiful rough collie, Holly, a dog of unfathomable temperament!  No doubt something to do with her treatment before she was rescued.

I cannot, at present, envisage living anywhere else.
