Jean, Stan and Neil bought Wilne in 1960. Stan worked at Bexford, later ICI, and Neil attended Stutton Primary School until 1964 when he went to Ipswich School Prep.
In 1967, Jean joined the staff of Stutton School as teacher of the fist and second year Junior Class.
In 1971, she moved to Holbrook Primary School for one year and then went to Whitton Junior School in Ipswich as Senior Teacher. She retained her link with Stutton children as Barn Owl at Stutton Brownies.

Neil went to college in the Lake District where he met and married Anne in 1977. Neil and Anne lived in Ipswich where Neil taught for some years before a change of career to ship's chandler. He has recently gone back to teaching. Anne worked for Eastern Electricity in Ipswich until 2000 when she moved to work for Centrica. |

Stan retired in 1982 and enjoyed 9 years retirement until his sudden death in 1991. In the same year Neil and Anne moved to Honeysuckle, Larksfield Road.
The whole family have been interested in sailing inspired by Neil. Stan had a 60 year involvement with the Scout Movement. Jean's interests include Stutton Women's Institute, carpet bowls, bridge and St Peter's Church where she is a member of the Parochial Church Council and Stutton Ringers.
Anne joined the Women's Institute and, on the committee, she made many friends. She is an avid reader and was a regular attender at the Wolsey Theatre. Neil recently became a member of the Parish Council where he is now Chairman. His interests include ornithology and writing.
