Daphne has lived in East Bergholt since 1953.  During that time she has been a regular worshipper at St Peter's Church and has supported most of its events.

She lives surrounded by a well cared for garden, and extends a welcome to visitors to the area by offering bed and breakfast facilities.

She is a keen artist and exhibits at most of the local shows. Her house is full of her paintings, and also some of the many photographs she has taken. She never leaves home without a camera! And enjoys photographing spectacular skies.

She is the East Bergholt village recorder and in that role takes a great interest in the works of John Constable, hence her interest in local skies.
