Both of us are Church members and participate in Church functions and activities, reading lessons, representing the Parish at the Deanery Synod and helping to cut the grass in the churchyard.

We are keen beaglers, hunting with the Stour Valley Beagles.

We are of necessity keen gardeners - Dove House has almost four acres.  It is near the Church and has a magnificent view of the River Stour.

Patrick has spent his working life in export of car-related products.  He trained with Ford and also worked with Cummings and Ransome Hoffman Pollard.  Even in retirement, he still does a certain amount of commission work.

Susannah is a history teacher and archaeologist training first to work in Africa.  Then working on Phoenician potterywhen they lived in Beirut for three years.  Since retiring, Susannah has done voluntary work for the Cheshire Home in Great Bromley, running their Summer Fete for many years until the home closed in 2000.

Susannah is President of the Women's Institute.
