Estate agents invariably emphasise the importance of the three Ps: Position, Position, Position but do not mention even mention the other three Ps: People, People, People. When you come to Stutton you quickly realise that you have scored full marks on all 6 Ps.
When God created Stutton he spent just a little longer so that this generation and hopefully, the children and grandchildren of this generation, will appreciate its outstanding natural beauty. When the forefathers of the people born and living now in Stutton were alive they maintained a way of life which their children have inherited. Stutton people are Suffolk people being examples of all that is best in being British. Fortunately, time advances slowly here and the courtesies of 50 to 100 years ago are still commonplace today.
Stutton is a longstanding community. For instance, some of its present families have links back to 1759, when, as soldiers of the 12th Foot, The Suffolk Regiment, they proudly fought at the great battle of Minden. Names include Catchpole, Keeble and Page. It is a close-knit community in which the Church, the pubs, the Community Hall, the village societies and clubs, all play a part.
There are so many benefits in living here that we could never hope to list them all. They can be summarised by saying that it is only when you are away that you really appreciate them and seize the first opportunity to hurry back home.
