HARVEST TIME AT STOWUPLAND 2007
Harvest time at Stowupland this year was again a very happy and joyful occasion The harvest Supper, held in the Village Hall on Saturday 22nd September, was attended by over 80 people, all of whom had a very enjoyable and social time. There were many brave entries for our traditional "Tablecloth Decorating" competition. We give grateful thanks to all those who donated the food, to the dedicated people who ran the kitchen and served us and to all who helped in any way.
On the preceding Friday, the children from the Freeman C.P. School held their own harvest service and decorated the church with their own harvest art. The Family Harvest Festival on Sunday morning was brightened by the children's art and enhanced by a christening, the evening Harvest Praise was a joyful occasion with the singing of many favourite hymns.
