Three times a year we have a Senior Fellowship Service for the more elderly people in our parish and church, especially those who cannot normally make the services. These happen on Sundays at 3.30pm and consist of a service followed by food.
Once a year there is also a "Praise in the Garden" when, assuming the weather is fine, the service is held in the Fletcher Centre garden. Those attending the service get the choice of which hymns to sing and it is a wonderful service of celebration. Attenders of the Housebound service "tuck in" to their food.
After each service there is always a wide selection of food -
For those unable to make their own way to the services there are lifts available

Infant baptisms are generally conducted during the morning service on the 5th Sunday. Parents are invited to attend a short preparation course in which to consider the purpose and responsibilities of this sacrament. Parents are also given the opportunity of having their child dedicated, leaving the possibility of baptism to a later date. Candidates for adult baptisms are often invited to follow an Alpha course as preparation. Adults are given the option of baptism by immersion.
In early November there is normally a special service held in which those who have recently died are remembered. The British Legion hold a service of remembrance in the afternoon of Remembrance Day.
Around Christmas, Easter, Pentecost and Lent there are a number of extra services including the "Midnight" service.
