Holiday Club – run by St. Edmund’s Church
Every year in the October half term holiday, St Edmunds Church run a children’s holiday club. The club runs each morning from Monday to Friday, and follows a theme for the week. Previous themes have included Seaside Rock, Desert Detectives and Wastewatchers. In 2008 our theme was Champions Challenge. Throughout the morning, we have games, crafts, Bible stories and singing. Around 40 children usually attend and a great time is had by all.
Latitude
Every year, the Sole Bay Youth Group run the Parent & Baby Chillout Zone at the Latitude Festival. Latitude has been hailed in the national press as the most family friendly music festival in the UK. Our facility is the only one at the festival aimed exclusively at the very young (from birth to pre-school) and their parents. We offer baby changing and feeding facilities, a buggy park, soft play, an enclosed outdoor play area, free drinks, fruit and sunblock for children, tea and coffee for parents.

In 2008 we introduced two new innovations – baby bath time and the “Youth Group Recommends” board. Many people camp with small children, and giving them a bath had previously been impossible, and so baby bath time proved a big hit – the sight of up to four babies in a row all being bathed in our marquee was truly memorable. Many adults attend Latitude without much idea of which bands they want to see – there are four stages of music alone. People have previously asked which acts our youth group would suggest, so this year everyone contributed a suggestion to our recommendation board. A great many people were seen studying it, marking their programmes with acts to see. A church service at Latitude for the first time, on the theme of The Creator Created Creative People.
SUBM (Scripture Union Beach Mission)

Runs every year during the first two weeks of August.
Offers Age-group based activities each morning from 10am finishing on the beach, in-front of Par Bar for the Beach Service.
In the afternoon, “Fests” are themed games and activities for all the age groups running from 2:30pm.
Daily Bible study runs each day for adults.
A Toddlers group runs each Tuesday and Thursday morning.
