An isolated thatched country church with a magnificent Norman Doorway that gives access to a typical Suffolk interior, plain but elegant and well lit.
The windows are probably 14th Century but the walls are clearly older. The building was substantially renovated in the early 20th Century but, unusually for restorations of the period , the original character was not spoiled. The church has no electricity supply, so a hand pumped organ and the hissing of Tilley lamps giving a marvellous air of the past, accompany evening prayer. Usually open between 10am - 5pm Closed before sunset in the winter.
