The registry is the legal office of the diocese. James Hall is a qualified solicitor. He is the registrar and legal secretary to the Bishop. He is assisted by Angela Long, the registry clerk. Charles Boscawen is also a qualified solicitor and is deputy registrar.

The work of the registry includes giving legal advice and guidance to clergy, parish officers, boards and councils throughout the diocese.

Please feel free to contact James or Angela at any time. Advice is generally free. They try to make it practical and relevant. James is a lay reader, Charles a churchwarden and Angela has years of experience. If all else fails, they have the books!
