Melton Church is open daily except for Mondays and Saturdays.

St Mary Otley, St Mary Clopton, All Saints Ashbocking are open daily and the keyholders for St Mary Swilland are named on the porch.

Yoxford, Peasenhall, Kelsale, Thebruton, Darsham, Westleton, Middleton and Dunwich churches of The Yoxford Confederation are all open daily between 10.30am and 3.30pm.

St John the Evangelist, Bury St Edmunds on St John's Street is open daily 9am to 5pm and welcomes visitors. Contact Revd John Ellis on 01284 752906.

St Mary the Virgin, Huntingfield

Church open daily, unique painted ceiling, guided tours by arrangement. Contact Griffin at 01502-723709.


St.Bartholomew Orford, All Saints Subourne, St Peter Chillesford, St John Butley and St Botolph Iken are open during the day. There are special quiet hours in St Botolph Iken each Friday from 12-1pm. Why not go it is in a lovely location?

SS Peter & Paul Hoxne Open during daylight hours A fine, well cared for, mediaeval church with an impressive north aisle. Parking outside the gate The Swan, Low Street Hoxne serves good food & beer. Fabulous B&B at the Abbey Eye (3 miles) with Kate Campbell. The vicarage next to the Church is moated and is probably the oldest vicarage in the Diocese.
