Islands in the West Indies, Ballarat in Australia, Mount Kenya
South, Mount Kenya Central, Mount Kenya West, Thika and Kirinyaga

The
Emergency Prayer Chain
The
Diocese of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich operates three prayer
chains, one in each Archdeaconry. The links in the prayer
chain will pray for any emergency, on request. A caller can
contact one of the links, who then passes the request on to
the next link and so on until it has gone around the chain.
The emergency will then be surrounded by prayer.
Prayer usually continues for two weeks, unless the emergency
is resolved sooner. Many requests become ongoing and this
is where the link's back up teams come into operation, praying
for long term needs.
