The Action & Outreach Unit is responsible for Social Policy and emphasises the caring role of the Mothers' Union

PROJECTS
The Mothers' Union is a Christian organisation with 3.6 million members in 77 countries. It's aims are to support and encourage marriage and stable family life. Our projects are local, national and world wide.
Our challenge is "Christian care for families worldwide".

Local Projects
Around the diocese we are involved in all sorts of projects from toddler groups to parenting classes and from voluntary work in prisons to holiday schemes. To see more about some of the wonderful work we do click here

Worldwide Projects
The Mothers' Union are involved in projects the world over. We have members in over 77 countries worldwide including some of the poorest. The Mothers' Union have developed everything from Family Training Programmes to Relief Work. More

Parenting
The Mothers' Union provide excellent support and resources for parents from all walks of life. Projects include support groups for parents, parent and toddler groups and support and information. More


AFIA - Away From It All Holidays
Away From It All holidays for families recommended to us who would benefit from a break. Enables those experiencing emotional stress or financial hardship, who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity, to have a break.
