We provide resources, courses,
training materials and advice to encourage and support lay
adults in their Christian life and witness. This includes
Lay Elders and others with a particular church responsibility,
eg Churchwardens, House Group Leaders, PCC members.
We are keen to pass on news
of useful resources parishes have found or developed, and
to share good practice. Let us know your story - it may
save others re-inventing the wheel! See the Good Ideas pages.
The Lay Education Adviser,
Elizabeth Moore is happy to meet individuals, PCCs, ministry
teams, Chapters etc to discuss lay education needs and plans.
Please contact her to arrange a visit.
If

Administrators
Benefices and deaneries are increasingly appointing administrators
voluntry or paid, part or full time. There is a growing
informal network of Administrators in the diocese who share
expertise and good pratice, and can help support new administrators.
To join the network, or get advice on appointing an administrator,
contact Elizabeth Moore. Also available is a diocesan resource
pack, Being a Church Administrator, contact Elizabeth
to get a free copy.
