Diocesan Ministry Course seeks to promote the mission of
the Diocese through developing partnerships with parishes
in order to:
enable
church members to explore a vocation to Accredited and Acknowledged
Local Ministry;
train
those individuals selected for Accredited or Acknowledged
Local Ministry |

Education |

| Provides
resources, courses, training materials and advice to encourage
and support lay adults in their Christian life and witness.
This includes Lay Elders and others with a particular church
responsibility, eg Churchwardens, House Group Leaders, PCC
members. |
| Continuing
Ministerial Education (CME) |

| Supporting
professional development in ministry for clergy, readers and
acknowledged ministers “…For the sake of the mission
and ministry of the whole church.” |
| Schools |
|
| Provides
information on courses and seminars, governors, useful links
and more in relation to Suffolk's church schools, which are
responsible for educating 13% of the county's children |

Edmundsbury Cathedral Library
St Edmundsbury Cathedral Library is a major resource for
all those interested in theology and related subjects. It
has some 7,000 volumes, most available for borrowing, as
well as over 20 periodicals. All may join the library, which
