Overview
The Diocesan Ministry Course seeks to promote
the mission of the Diocese through developing partnerships with
parishes in order to:
-
enable church members to explore a vocation
to Accredited and Acknowledged Local Ministry
-
train those individuals selected for Accredited or Acknowledged
Local Ministry
The
Diocesan Ministry Course also works in partnership with the CME
Officer to support the process of Continuing
Ministerial Education for Accredited and Acknowledged Local
Ministers and to promote ongoing research into ministerial development
and practice.
The
Diocesan Ministry Course manages:
- a
1 year process of vocational discernment for those who wish
to explore Accredited and Acknowledged Local Ministry
- a term
of induction for those who are selected for Accredited
and Acknowledged Local Ministry
- a 3 year
course of theological education and ministerial formation
