With colleagues, and within the context of ecumenical
relationships, he or she will also work to build a worshipping,
serving community within the Blyth Valley.
APPOINTMENT
The person appointed will work for 3.5 days each
week plus Sunday duty. A house will be provided. The appointment
is for a term of seven years from the date of the Bishop’s
licence.
ACCOMMODATION
The Vicar will live in a parsonage house.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Halesworth Regeneration
The Vicar will project manage the regeneration
of St Mary’s from its inception, working with colleagues,
the Archdeacon, the DAC, the Team Council, Halesworth Churchwardens
and Halesworth Parochial Church Council. Therefore, it will be
useful for the post-holder to have specific skills in Project
Management. Experience of business planning, community development
and thorough knowledge of ways of accessing a range of funding
streams will also be welcomed.
He or she will be a team player who will work
collaboratively and at the same time take a clear lead on the
Regeneration Project. He or she will develop strong community
links.
