Otley Hall, Quiet Day with Anne McDonnell, regional coordinator of the Community of Christian Meditation . 'Stillness, Silence, Simplicity the pratice of Christian meditation with in the tradition of the World Community of Christian Meditation'. For more information Call Lucy Sheehan on 01473 890264. Bury St Edmunds, All Saints 'Anglican-Roman Relations' with Bishop John Flack, assistant Bishop in the Peterbrough Diocese and former director of the Anglican Centre, Rome. Clare, Town Hall Clare parish church Christmas Fair from 10a.m. to 1p.m. A traditional church Christmas Fair with a variety of stalls including crafts, cakes, tombola, well-stocked white elephant, books, Childrens' games and raffles. etc. Tea, coffee and cakes, mulled wine and Father Christmas - a jolly event not to be missed!!

Barrow, Barrow Village Hall, 2pm - 4pm, BAZAAR, come along and have a look, lots to choose from including;- cakes, homemade produce, toys, books, nearly new, bric-a-brac, tombola, raffle, seasonal goods and a visit from Santa. Entrance 50p all proceeds to All Saints Church, Barrow

27th-4th Dec The BIG Crib exhibition. At various churches across the county.
28th & 29th

Ipswich, All Saints John Gaughan, formally of Herman's Hermits, will be sharing the problems of addictions and depression which he has overcome with the help of God. Please contact All Saints Church for further information.

Bury St Edmunds, Angel Hill, Living Nativity, once again Father Peter and his animals will reproduce the nativity on Angel Hill during the Christmas Market. Come along and see the animals.

5th Marlesford St Andrew newly limewashed for the first time in living memory. Advent Concert by Gyppeswick singers performing a mixture of madrigals, songs and anthems by Berlioz, Bruckner, Dowland, Finzi, Gibbon, Morley, Cole Porter, Rachmaninov and Wood. 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 to include mulled wine and mince pies from 01728 746511 or 01728 745054 or on the door.
Rushmere St Andrew St Andrew’s Singers will be giving their first ever Christmas Concert in aid of Crisis, the national charity for single homeless people.The programme includes ,Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols and John Rutter’s Dancing Day (both accompanied by the acclaimed harpist Helen Sharp) -- alongside a rare performance (by soprano Claire Weston) of Peter Cornelius’s charming Christmas Songs’. 7.30 pm.
Tickets (including seasonal refreshments) cost £8 in advance or £9 on the door, and are available from 01473 727274.
5th - 6th

Creeting St Mary, St Mary. Christmas Tree and Crib Festival. 10am - 5pm Refresments and decorations for sale.Admission £1. On Sunday at 4pm, there will be a short service where gifts for family refuge will be recieved.

Worlingworth, St Mary, Christmas Bazaar Saturday 5th December in the Community centre 11.00.am to 2.00.pm Various stalls. Light Lunches from 12.00.noon. Admission Adults 50p to include a cup of coffee or tea. Children Free. In aid of church funds.

Bury St Edmunds, St Mary. St Nicholas Hospice Care invites you to take time out and join us to remember your loved ones at our Special 25th Birthday Songs of Praise Service and Light up a Life Ceremony on 6th December 2009 - St Nicholas Day.
The celebratory Songs of Praise Service is being held at St Mary’s Church, followed by a candlelit walk to Angel Hill for the Light up a Life Ceremony, with Christmas carols and the lighting of the Christmas tree.
