| Donorpoint |
DonorPoint
... In a nutshell, what does it do?
Think in terms of a cash machine, yet instead of giving out
cash, DonorPoint allows your organisation or charity to collect
donations directly from debit and credit cards! The unit also
captures Gift Aid details and any other donor data you may
need for your appeal or membership. It’s a floor mounted,
yet portable unit, which can be used anywhere you have a plug
socket and mobile signal. Ideal for fundraising days, concourse
promotions, as well as fixed in more permanent locations as
visitor and shopping centres and the like. |
| Efundraising |
This
service takes online fundraising to a new level. Your donation
pages can include your own branding and message to your supporters.
In addition to one-off credit/debit card donations, you can
also generate regular support via direct debit. CAF set up
and manage the instruction on your behalf so you don't need
to be a registered direct debit originator yourselves. Our
multi-currency facility enables donors to give in the currency
of their choice although we will pass you funds in GBP. |
| Envelope
Systems |
Our
family business has been involved with the production of church
stewardship envelopes from their first introduction into the
UK in the 1950s by the trailblazing American fund-raiser Colonel
Louis G. Wells. The Wells organisation introduced the concept
of church stewardship via envelopes to churches and cathedrals
across the UK, most of whom continue to benefit from envelope
schemes today. In
1976, we created our own range of products, realising a
need among churches and charities for a simple and uncomplicated
range of high quality products offering outstanding value.
At 115mm x 76mm, our regular envelopes are among the largest
offertory envelopes available, apart of course from our
new Gift Aid donation envelope. At 140mm x 76mm, it has
ample space for containing the most generous donations.

| Gift
Aid |
The
Gift Aid scheme was amended by Finance Act 2000 for donations
made by individuals on or after 6 April 2000. The main changes
were to:
- abolish
the £250 minimum limit for Gift Aid donations, so
that the scheme applies to any donation, whether large
or small, regular or one-off
-
withdraw the separate tax relief for payments made under
a Deed of Covenant and give all relief for such payments
under the Gift Aid scheme
- replace
the requirement for donors to give the charity a Gift
Aid certificate with a requirement to give a new, simpler
and more flexible Gift Aid declaration
- allow
donors to give a written Gift Aid declaration by post,
by fax or by Internet or an oral declaration over the
phone or face to face.
allow
- Crown
servants and members of the UK armed services serving
overseas, and
other non-UK-resident individuals who make donations out
of income or gains charged to UK tax,
to use the new Gift Aid scheme.

given to UK charities; and, in the long term, to encourage
a culture of giving where it is thought natural for everyone
able to do so to give money and time to improve the quality
of life for others. |
