Deacon in Lichfield Cathedral 24th May 1964 and Priest, 13th

Have served in the following parishes :-
1. Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity, Chesterton,
Newcastle under Lyme 1964- 1967
2. Assistant Curate of Christ Church, Tettenhall
Wood, Wolverhampton (in charge
of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Castlecroft) 1967- 1971
3. Vicar of St. Philip and St. James, Milton,
Stoke on Trent 1971- 1978
4. Vicar of St. Mary the Virgin with All Saints,
Ixworth Thorpe and
Rector
of St. Peter and St. Paul, Bardwell, from 1978. Team Rector of
the
Blackbourne Team Ministry, having responsibility for the parishes
of
Ixworth with Ixworth Thorpe and Bardwell from 1992 and for the
parishes
of St. Gregory, Barnham and St. Bartholomew's, Ingham, with St.
Peter,
Ampton and St. Peter , Gt. Livermere from 1997.
Served
as Rural Dean of Ixworth 1985- 1994
Appointed
Honorary Canon of St. Edmundsbury Cathedral in 2001.
Met
Elizabeth when serving my second curacy in Wolverhampton. We married
in
May 1971 and have three children, Katriona, James and Louise. We
also
have one granddaughter, Rose.
We
share the Vicarage with two cats, two dogs, one tortoise and one goldfish!
