WANTED

Request from the Magazine Editor, Alison Garrett

Wearing my other hat, as curator of the Lanman Museum in Framlingham Castle, I am looking for any old photographs (negatives if possible) of the area, people events etc. that I can scan into the computer and add to the data base.  These could then be used as the basis for future displays / exhibitions in the Museum. Whilst the Museum is based in Framlingham it was always intended to cover the local area and I would like to widen the scope of its activities. Equally if anybody has any artifacts of local relevance that they would like to donate or that I can add to the database then I, on behalf of all of the Trustees, would be most grateful. We are also looking for old school chairs circa 1930 to go with the school desk and a small male dummy (no volunteering of close male relatives please !!!) for a beautiful old bandsman's jacket. I am also looking for the trousers to match the jacket and any information as to where I might find a suitable pair would be gratefully received.
